Rusted U bolts
I changed out the 48 year old U bolts holding the rear end that were almost rusted in too today . I had to cut with grinder and double nut and turn with breaker bar while hitting with hammer. Glad that's over with. Who said working on these trucks was easy.

I have many projects on these truck that have fought me every step of the way. Glad you were able to get them off. And probably easier the route you went ....looks like the bottom threads are getting toasty on some of those. Looks like some new CPP springs installed?
