Wood bed kit?

Is there any companies that are making a wood bed kit that is designed to be installed OVER the steel floor on a fleet side?

It's called a Show Deck, and here's a link.

FL71C10,

That's exactly what I was thinking of! Once I clicked the link I realized that I had watched Stacey building "Knucklebuster" and install the Show Deck. It's beautiful....and pricey! $1135.00 for SWB Fleet.....OUCH!!

Imo it would be easier (definitely cheaper) to track down a fleetside frint header and cross sills and buy a wood bed kit and strips.

Re: Wood bed kit?

True. I thought about that too. My bed floor is solid, but it does have a pretty good dent in it. I was looking for a way to easily hide the damage that would still look good, but I could replace the entire bed floor cheaper than the cost of the Show Bed! I may stand it up on the bulk head and try to hammer/dolly it out the best I can then spray a liner on it.
