Stock height or mid drop

I purchased a 67 c10 a few months ago and got a smoking deal, literally! The truck had an engine bay fire which ruined all the electrical, dash components and interior. I completely disassembled the truck to get rid of the bad stuff and see what i could salvage. The engine and transmission are still good and i managed to salvage the cab. This is where my question comes in. I swapped out the front end suspension and installed a rebuilt 72 suspension (thanks TKorinek). The truck now seems to sit about 3 inches higher in the front but the motor/tranny and front clip are not on yet. Will it drop that much once all components are put back on? Also, can some of you gurus tell if the truck seemed to have a drop when i got it.

Thanks in advance.
JG

No replies? Can you whip this into a build thread and show us what you've got now?

You will get all of 3" with the power plant in, possibly even more drop, I wouldn't worry to much about suspension or stance until you get the motor and trans in, assess from there on where you'd like to take the ride hieght.

Re: Stock height or mid drop

Alright so here's a few progress pics of the truck. My son is helping out with the block sanding in one of the pics. I attached a few pics of the 71 blazer I finished up 2 years ago and sold. It was really nice but wanted a C10. I'm thinking of going the same Marina Blue as the Blazer but not sure. Let me know what you think. Also, i included a few pics of the impala i'm just about done with...

Re: Stock height or mid drop

some pics of the body a few months ago. Its pretty damn straight now a days. Just need a little bit of work on the hood and the weld up the AC hole in firewall. The big brown truck just showed up with my 5 lug rear axles from ECE. The front end has already been swapped out with a 71 suspension and rebuilt...

It's a champagne color. I believe I got the color code from a 2096 or 2008 mercedes.

Re: Stock height or mid drop

I cracked open the rear differential to install a pair of ECE 5 lug axles. I highly recommend their products. Also I confirmed that I have 3.73 gears and posi outback. Now her shoes are going to match.
