Gilded trim

Anyone ever try using a silver or aluminum leaf in place of the side trim? I just thought maybe it would be a nice touch to seperate the two tone colors rather than installing actual trim. It shouldnt cost too much and keep a sleek look. Any thoughts?

Re: Gilded trim

you could do vinyl and clear over or just mask and paint then clear.

Re: Gilded trim

Tossing that idea around myself on my build. I was going to try to find a pinstripe that looked like the original molding and use that. Any thoughts?
