shifter help

I have a quarter stick and a bench seat.... I want to keep them both so I really need some ideas on how to make this work...... send me some ideas/pics of what you have or have seen....

Take the seat out and put a half-moon shaped notch in the seat at the center of the truck. Hot Rodders ahve been doing that for years. Once the seat frame is formed have the upholstery shop make a new seat cover.
