How to deal with rusty bolt holes?

I took my door panels off my 1971 chevy C10 custom yesterday and changed the door locks. In the process, I stripped one of the stainless fasteners. I managed to get it out, carefully, but then I had to replace it. I went to Ace Hardware and found one that was SIMILAR, but not quite perfect. In addition, I'm left with very rusty machine screw holes.

How should I clean up these holes? And what should I put in there when I'm done? These looks pretty close to stock: http://www.classicpartsusa.com/produ...71_Truck_Parts

lightly spray the hole with some PB blaster, run the 1/4-20 tap through the hole with some additional blaster----done...then install the screw with a dab of anti-seize. I have more problems with stainless steel screw fasteners than anything else

X2^^^. I use an Anti-Seize brand called "Cop-Graf", it has a blend of copper and graphite designed to plate metal parts with a protective barrier guarding against rust, corrosion, seizing and galling. Also really good on exhaust bolts. It's rated for tempatures up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit.

Word. Bought a hss 1/4-20 rh bottoming tap from fastenal, then pb-16, anti sieze, dark cutting oil and a tap handle from amazon. Should be fun to clean those up when the parts come in.

I sand blasted all my inner door parts when I had them out
