Then BAM! Rife luck hits. I am trying to put a connector on the A/C switch and a terminal breaks. Time to quit.

Thanks Chuck, I may have to hit you up for a pair. I remember some of the mid 80's cars having some nice lights that would work good.

Your vintage air unit looks very similar to the one I'm using. It looks to be the cable control?

Thanks, I went back and looked at your pictures and I'm pretty sure I have the same model. Did you have to order the cables and water shut off valve for yours?
I may have some tech. questions when I get to finishing mine. Hope you don't mind....

Your truck is coming along so fast it makes me jealous. It feels like I'm so far away from actually diving mine....Keep the pics coming.

No I didn't have to order those parts but I did order a new A/C control. Which now has a broken switch lol. I could probably solder it back on but I don't want to take a chance that my air would quit someday. I love air. period. lol

I'm trying to get it finished by the Truck nationals show in White House. But not rushing it.

Thanks brother. I just bought some fuel hose to go from my fuel door to the tank. It's expensive.

You bet it is! I can't remember what I paid for the 2 feet I had to put on my tank, but it was outrageous.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I thought my tank inlet was 1 1/2". But it's 1 1/4". I have to find some way if reducing this so it'll fit w/no problems. Headed to the parts store again. Argh!

I think I paid almost $30 for 2' of 2 1/2" hose, I was shocked to say the least.

Thanks Rus. I appreciate the help on the tank. I wound up getting a reducer from Advance auto and bought a 1 1/4'' fuel fill hose at Orileys. Rus showed up in time to help me get it on.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Today I got the underside of the cab cleaned and it'll be ready for some spray on bed liner this week. I got the rear end pinion seal replaced and some more oil into it. I also noticed that my hood had bulges on both sides from the pressure form the shocks on the porter built hinges. So I put a hood prop rod on that I had. After i got the shocks off. Its less noticeable but still there. I tried to take pics so you guys could see what I was talking about but its hard to see. You can see it it in some of the reflections.
