Finally able to post pics of my 71 SWB
Bought her in August and won't go into the mis-leading from the previous owner. Since August the following has been completed:
Engine rebuilt (dart heads) Transmission rebuilt New posi rear end with 342 gears New exhaust Headers Tires All new fuel lines All new brake lines New coil springs New brakes all way round Battery New distributor New master cylinder New steering box New steering column New dash cluster with tac New bucket seats and console New carpet New gas tank New vent windows New weather seals New Bed Cover New FAST Efi New oem outer grille New horn Many areas required New heater core New radiator support Fat Mat inside cab Its a working progress...[/QUOTE] Last edited by *71SWB*; 06-03-2014 at 07:47 AM. |

Now my next hurdle is the wife. She hates the truck and complains all the time. She wants a newer model. Even has asked me to list the truck to sell or trade. Had a guy make a random offer of 15k for the truck and she wanted me to take it. Heck, I've got almost double that in it. lol

Your truck is gorgeous and looking at it I know you have put a lot of sweat and money into it and it would bea shame to let someone else enjoy the truck after you have done all the hard work.
