Help decoding my 1950 3600

Hey guys,
New to the forum here, I'm a classic car dealer in Scottsdale AZ and picked up a 1950 Chevy 3600 truck not too long ago. I don't know a whole lot about decoding these and wanted to see if you guys can help me out. The engine stamp appears to be SME7161 and the serial # on the tag in the cab shows 20HR-G. If any of you guys can help me figure out what motor is in this truck and what it was supposed to come with I'd appreciate it
Thanks

Picture of the engine would be helpful.
If it's original, it should be a 216, but I can't make heads or tails of the SME7161

Not sure what you want to know but its a
1950 3600 125.25 wheel base made in Los Angeles CA

this will give you almost everything you need to know

Re: Help decoding my 1950 3600

Thanks, looks like most of the info I was looking for was on here. The biggest thing I wanted to find out is what engine is in it since the casting # doesn't seem to match with anything listed for 1950
