1967 longbed stepside
I picked up this truck a while back. I decided it is time to share my progress. This is how it looked when I bought it. I'd like to point out the green shag carpet, and promise that it was the first thing to go.

Re: 1967 longbed stepside
its my first build. my plans are to keep it mostly stock, with only a few mods.
and it looked solid to me, until I started tear down. Last edited by simply ed; 06-15-2014 at 12:53 PM. |

Re: 1967 longbed stepside
some random out of order tear down shots. And I guess I was brave, or stupid, but I decided to do a frame off on my first build. and in the nine years that the truck sat unused, the rats made a motel in the cab. it was all over the place.

both sides needed new cab corners, inner and outer rockers, lower a pillars, rust repair on various spots of the floor and roof.

Re: 1967 longbed stepside
Very nice progress. I see you have the fuel filler in the fender. That's what I would want to do if I relocated the gas tank to the rear. Looking forward to more pics.
