CO 1972 1/2 Dana 44 Front Axle - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm getting rid of this axle, I don't need it since I'm going with 3/4 ton axles. It's a 1/2 ton Dana 44 front axle with a 3.73 gear ratio. It was originally from a 1972 GMC K1500. It has disc brakes and the original RH flat top knuckle. It still has the original Dana ring & pinion dated 4 20 72. The gear pattern looks excellent, and as seen in the first picture there are a few random spots of surface rust from the axle sitting. I was going to list this on craigslist but decided to put it on here first. I do not want to ship this so local pickup only, and I'm asking $200. Thanks
