Mild body drop without major floor modification

The plan is to get an extra 3/4 to 1 inch of drop by lowering the stock body mounts. I'm shaving the pinch welds, and Looking forward to hiding the frame and cross-members better.

I have already cut out my trans tunnel so my motor could be tucked way back, the only other clearance issue I see is the cross member that the trailing arms mount to. Does anyone think it might be a bad idea to trim the top 1/2 inch of it? or should I modify the floor for clearance?

Has anyone seen this done?
