You may want to check out the "49 ls1" thread by skymangs.Lot of great step by step info on LS swap on these trucks.Also one of the most talented,hard working and helpful folks on here.All of his threads are chock full of great info,I saw you were interested in a 5.3/4L60e in yours.

Im going tomorrow morning to go pull the swap out of a Tahoe, What all will I need from the donor truck besides Engine Trans ECU and Harness??

I sent Him a message through FB and he advised it is an S10 Blazer tank. More square than others.

this is what I used in my last build on ebay for like $63 shipped, cant beat it.

Capacity: 20 Gallons/76 Liters
Dimensions: 33 X 22 X 10-1/2 inches
Depth of bottom half - 5-1/4 inches

Not correct for Fuel Injected models

Includes the lock ring and gasket for the sending unit.

Brand NEW fitting for the following years and models:
1985 Chevy Blazer S10 Fuel Tank 20 Gal non F.I.
1983-84 Chevy Blazer S10 Fuel Tank 20 Gal non F.I.
1985 GMC Jimmy S-15 Fuel Tank 20 Gal non F.I.

it should fit between rails fine, but depends on how much room you have in the back and your setup
