Ok – back on topic.
Here are pics of the finished bath and break areas. My wife had the green light on colors, fixtures, etc. and I must say I am quite impressed with how it turned out. The loft/stairs is next on the construction list.

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
I needed an antenna mast for a HD TV antenna and for a radio receiver/modem for internet. My friend Les and I came up with an idea and after picking through the scrap (treasure) pile he fab’ed it together a couple of weeks ago. I think this is the second unofficial project in the shop. Here it is waiting for the paint to dry. We will mount it to the shop in the near future.

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
Fantastic shop/barn Wayne. I'm about to break ground on a 40x50 building and it sure won't be nearly as sexy as yours. I'm in to see what's next.
And Shiner does make some great refreshments |

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
Thanks all - I appreciate the compliments. Ed - be sure to post up pics of your shop and I agree Shiner does brew a nice refreshment.
Things have been slow since we aren't planning on starting the loft until next month. So in the down time I installed a couple of safety items: I have a few more extinguishers to add but can't until the loft is in place. I hope you all enjoy the pics. I will add more as we progress.

I love it. The canopies are awesome, the brickwork really sets it off, and the driveway!!
I could live there happily for the rest of my life, easy. How's the loft coming along?

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
Thanks everyone.
The dog days of August got to us. I hope to start back up on the loft in September. I did manage to get most of the cabinet hardware installed and a couple of more exterior lights up – still waiting on the final light fixture. We’ve had a hard time finding new guts for some of the 50 plus year old light fixtures I am trying to salvage/restore. I did find an almost new 6 foot step ladder and a nice roll around tool cart on CL for cheap. Got the box cleaned up and put some go fast stickers on it. I’m about to finish up our 1991 Toyota pickup. It was involved in a wreck right before Christmas of 2012. Nothing major and no one was hurt but we had to go to court to fight a ticket and that didn’t get settled until exactly a year later (we won – ticket/case dismissed). I finally gave up on the other driver’s insurance company a few months ago. I had to decide if it was worth the money to get my lawyer involved again. I spent way too much on fighting the ticket. My wife was not at fault but got the citation so we fought the ticket purely on principle. So long story short, we gathered up the necessary parts and will have it back together next week or the week after. So I have been busy, just not entirely on the shop. It’s been a nice break too as I was getting burned out. Anyone want to see pics of my new tool box and an old ugly Toyota pickup?

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
LOL -
OK, I will have to get on a different PC for the later pictures of the Toyota and actually take pictures of the tool box. Here are pics of the truck in December 2012 two days after the accident: Funny - I just now noticed. The Toyota and tractor are parked where my shop is now located.

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
Yeah, not too bad.
Here it is in April of 2013. Lawyer and insurance gave me the nod to remove the damage parts but wanted me to wait before repairs.

Re: Our new shop - AKA Barnasaurus
Karl – They are extremely light, I think they’re advertised at 10 lbs. for each ramp. I’ve had then for a couple months now and am very pleased with them. I needed something now because I put my lift on hold until next spring due to some over expenditures for the shop construction which ate into my tool budget.
