Re: Ebay Listing - Am I Missing Something??

I was cruising eBay and thought it looked weird. Just glad mine didn't end up like that!

Re: Ebay Listing - Am I Missing Something??

"Trazer" = shortbed fleetside and P/U Cab on a Blazer frame. Since shortbed fleetside beds are getting rarer, now they're chopping longbeds down. I guess that makes this E-Bay contraption a "Trazer-Horn".

Re: Ebay Listing - Am I Missing Something??

Nothing quite like a few more personalized home built jobs to bump the values on the stock trucks....LOL
No bids, no big surprise.
That said, these kinds of alterations are very individualized endeavors and to each his own...but don't ever assume that some one else is going to pay you for personalized efforts or tastes on sales day.
Hopefully he gets something for it if the drivetrain is ok, etc.
My two bits.

Re: Ebay Listing - Am I Missing Something??

Maybe this wasn't in the description earlier but it is now...

1972 Chevy C-10 4x4
Recently installed wiring harness (LMC $700), new tires, starter, alternator, battery, battery box, wiper motor, belts, hoses, air filter, plugs, transmission mounts, wiper blades, dome light, wiper switch, gear shift indicator, door locks, ignition switch, Mile Marker hubs, and have extra wing window. Truck runs decent.

Truck does need some work, getting some vapor from one side of engine ( headgasket), bodywork, inner fenders, rockers, cab supports and spots on bed.

Truck has Blazer frame with a shortened longbed.

Engine is a 350 with a turbo 350 automatic transmission, 12 bolt rear end, Dana 44 frontend, rally wheels, with trimrings, all the lights work, heater works well.
Truck is rough but needs some work to be a nice daily driver
I think these trucks are "neat" and have a market, it just needs the back of the bed shortened to the correct "shortbed" dimensions and it would be a neat looking truck. and if it's in as good of shape as it looks in pics, that is CHEAP! for a running driving 4x4.

Re: Ebay Listing - Am I Missing Something??

Have to say as cool as a shorty 4wd is, they still look a bit out of sorts, not nice like a Blazer with the top off.
