I need GMC grill education!

I have a 70 GMC (of course) in which I just replaced my core support with one from a 68. Will my 70 grill fit the 68 core support.? My hood latch bolted on fine. Also, are 68-70 grills all the same just the 69-70 has a top bar and the 68 does not. Does a 68 use the same latch assembly? Anybody have a pic of the filler panel that goes between the core support and grill? My core support(68) has nuts across the lower front, also my grill along the bottom has holes for "j" nuts that are possibly used for the filler panel. My 70 core support does not have nuts across the lower front. Whew... Hope all you'all can make heads or tells of this, pics would be great (hood latch on a 68).

The 68 Grill is the same but the top bar changed for 69 so my guess would be that the 70 grill will fit fine. The 67 and 68 had a
filler panel across the bottom between the grill and core support.
I am not sure but I dont think the 70 had this.
