I like those battery trays a lot. I think I'm going to get one and cut the logo out and put a chevy symbol in. Then paint. That would look good.

This weekend planning on starting my 5.3 on a stand. Hopefully it will start with stock wire harness and computer just attached to battery with a inline fuel pump. I'll take some pics.

Very nice truck. I can't wait till mine is on the road. Should be about a month. I just ordered early classics trans crossmember and their 5.3 lsx mounts. Super stoked to put it in.

Washed the truck today, changed oil. She is looking and running good even though it's the inline 6 still.

Started on th 5.3. As soon as parts from early classics come in and Jesse at wait4meperformance send back computer and harness we will be in buisness. Oh also steering column from cpp and lokar shift link. What do y'all think is the best fuel pump set up for the 5.3?

Painted my 5.3 valve covers. Chevy orange. Turned out nice. Pretty much just cleaned then wiped real good with mineral spirits and then painted. I did 3 coats and I am happy with the turn out.
