Won't be a direct swap, but you can make it fit.
If you have coils on your 3/4 ton, then you have more work in front of you. You just looking for a gear swap, or is your original fubared? |

Wont be too bad if you have a cuttin torch a grinder and a welder neat thing about the 3/4 tons is they have the tube mounted panhard bar bracket just be carefull takin off all brackets mught be better off to grind the welds and chisel them off or gouge them but not everyone has a gouger.
I put a late model in my coil spring half ton pretty simple just invest in a decent degree wheel so you can set the pinion angle straight I belive the 3/4s use a dana or something that 75 will be a 14 bolt in wich case he can obtain posi easily and cheaply and to me are a better rearend to deal with all the 3/4 tons that i have seen have those dana rearends.. I think there dana not really sure Anyone know if a 72 3/4 ton was offered with a 14 bolt? |

I put a '74 rear end in my '72, but I had to move the spring seats (where the springs bolt to the rear end). I don't remember how much though, that was a few years ago.

would a 60-66 rearend swap right in? It has the same trailing arm system. Are the width across the same?

60 - 66 would be the same width as the 67 - early 70, but mid year 70 - 72 (and into teh naxt gen) they were a bit wider.
