Front end conundrum

Thought I started this thread already, but cannot find it.

I bought a 68 C10 rolling chassis. It has a 5 bolt lugs on the front, not sure how it was done. I want to identify the configuration to be sure to get the right replacement parts. It has 1 1/4" thick front rotors, and non-rubber a-arm bushings. Questions:

1. Can I identify tie rod ends and center link by diameter?

2. Any way to identify the steering knuckles?

3. If it has 73 or newer cross-member on the front, will some of the attachment holes be elongated? I've seen 73 and up front suspensions at the U-pull it with the non-rubber a-arm bushings, not sure when that started.

4. Can I identify ball joints by the bolt diameter?

5. Any other tips appreciated.
