Rust free 1972 K5 4X4 Blazer for parts or whole

Well, it looks really good. There's no way I would sell it. I'd store it if necessary until I retired or came back to the states. Where are they transferring you?

I just got back to the states after being deployed overseas for 15 months. I got back in September and reported to my new command in October. I am stationed on Camp Pendleton, California. I literally moved across the street to the formal school that teaches my job specialty. I am filling the billets of Company First Sergeant, Company Gunnery Sergeant and Operations Chief for the school ramp area with all the students. I need to get rid of a few of my toys so I can purchase a new house and get back to work on my business and the toys that I keep. I have 19 years in come Feruary 26th but I dont know if I will retire any time soon. I will keep a few of the toys, it is just that I need to liquidate some projects to finance the new home. It would be real easy to sell the Blazer off as everything is either restored or new.

My big concern with parting the blazer out will be the sale of the body tub and the frame. If I could sell the tub and frame for a good price I would part it all out.

ohh my that makes me sick ,, you have come so far on that truck and to me by looking at just what few pics i saw,, that has the makings to be one of the nicest blazers around, if i had the money i would own it 2 weeks ago, but so would every one else on the nboard if they had the money

Brothers has them don't know if they are same quality as yours for 459.00

I would say go ahead and try the quality with Brothers. I have purchased alot of parts from them over the years and never had a problem. They do have a good return policy if you are not pleased with the parts too.

Ya, I know what you mean about staying or retiring. I go over 21 in May for pay, but still have 5 years from retiring. When I get my twenty with the Navy, I'm pulling chocks. 27 years is just too long in one profession. Besides that will leave me free to pursue my truck hobbies full time. Either way, hope either you keep it or someone buys it whole and continues your work. Good luck, Jeff.

The military isnt the easiest profession to retire from after 20 years. It seems that they will take the best years of your life, but it is also very rewarding working with the juniors. I am looking forward to retirement but I will miss it once gone.
