Frame differences 2wd to 4wd
I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between a 2wd and 4wd frame in these trucks with regards to the main frame rails around the engine x-member / manifold area. I'm wondering if the rails in that area are the same dimensions or not?
thanks.

Re: Frame differences 2wd to 4wd
There are differences. They relate to 2wd vs 4wd as well as payload capacity (1/2, 3/4, 1 ton) and even longhorn.
For a better breakdown search at the top of the page. SSTim give a detail explanation with numbers etc... Before hitting the search button remember to mark the 67-72 button.
