Proper Dipstick for TH400 in 69 C20
My OEM dipstick for the transmission is damaged and needing replacement.
I see there are many options for the TH400, and I’m a bit confused. What I’m looking for is an OEM style replacement with the improved grommet seal instead of the O-ring. I really done want chrome or locking. What is proper length and mounting for a TH400 and 350v8? Any suggestions? |

Re: Proper Dipstick for TH400 in 69 C20
I went with the locking one from my local Transtar shop. 20 bucks and it is the first one I can actually get a reading on and doesn't leak. There is an AC Delco one from a later model with the hat seal but it is about 40 bucks from Jegs. The part number is floating around on the board but it is hard to find. I would just call Jegs.
