A What Is It Question
Found this in my box of odds & ends. No idea where it came from or what it is but it is definetly 67=72 knob styled. "Looks" like a standard radio knob but is almost 3/8" longer in length and the back stem hole has a threaded insert in it.

Re: A What Is It Question
I was thinking perhaps a choke knob but not sure. If '67 would it not have the knurled edges? Edges are smooth on it like radio knobs.
Got a full set of muffler bearings stashed away in the shop and this didn't match up, thanks. LOL

I think you mean the wiper knob has a set screw. The headlight knob is permanently attached to the shaft... LockDoc

Re: A What Is It Question
Yes the only knob I know of for a 67-72 chevy dash with a set screw is the wiper knob.

Re: A What Is It Question
The K31 manual throttle knob is internally threaded and screws onto the cable. There are at least three styles IIRC.
