New guy from Puyallup WA
I've been lurking here for a few months since I picked this truck up so I thought I better join up. Always been into VW's since I was 16 until now. I picked this up at a local car show for a decent price. She is just about rust free and has a 69 Camaro SB 350 and Muncie 4 sp! These pictures were taken the day I drove her home.
As of today the bed is off (putting new wood in) and the rear suspension is coming out in place of new parts from POL (trailing arms, adjustable pan hard bar, drop cross member, shock relocation kit, shocks and spring perches). Future plans include 5 lug conversion, disk/power brake upgrade, all new tubular front suspension, power steering upgrade and down the road LS/Tremec 5 sp swap. I have loved this body style Chevy since I could remember. Finally have the means to buy one and make it cool and since life is short I dove in head first!! Hope to learn a lot from this forum! Thanks
