help with tires and rim selection

have a 71 1/2 ton 4x4. Want to go with 16 rims, and larger tire.

Anyone have any info on this, there are many threads but not with a direct application to a 71 1/2 ton 4x4 as far as I can find.

Will the clearance be the same on 3/4 tons? I know someone with 16's and 265/75's.

Re: help with tires and rim selection

Virtually no clearance difference between 1/2T and 3/4T trucks, and 265/75-16s will fit easily. As you go to taller tires, you also have to pay attention to backspacing, but you can certainly go taller than 265/75s.
