69 c30 disk brakes

Here's the age old question of how to get away from drum brakes and 1/2 inch studs and swap to disk brakes with 9/16 studs... I've got a 1977 c30 Dually that I'm parting out, upon research I've found that I can keep the top control arms on the 69 but swap the bottom control arms off of the 77 correct? I just want my homework to be done before I dive into this head first! Thankyou..
