big block oil pressure gauge location?

Please excuse my ignorance but does the oil pressure gauge connect above the oil filter where the yellow masking tape is on my engine? Also do I have to buy anything special or can I just run a tube straight to the gauge from here if it does mount here? That hole just looks big, to me, for a standard oil pressure tube.

Yes it is there it goes. You might need some fittings if they are missing. Took a pic of how it looks on mine:
