CPP Master Cylinder Leaking Issue

Anybody have any issues with their CPP disc brake master cylinder leaking? I have put roughly 3k on my new front power disc system without issue. Praising it several times as I live in deer country and had to panic stop at least a half dozen times. Last night I got under the hood to check my oil and water when I noticed a mess on my inner fender. Looks like a pressure leak. It just isn't dripping - it is squirting. Appears to me coming from the front of the proportioning valve under the rubber cap at the front and/or the lower front output fitting at the bottom of the brass block. I tried to tighten the fitting and it didn't budge. I topped off the MC and drove to work today only to find fresh fluid all over the place again. What is that fitting on the front under the rubber cap? Is that some sort of pressure switch? Has anyone ever had the brass block crack? trying to figure this one out.

Re: CPP Master Cylinder Leaking Issue

solving my own issues - Called CPP and Jeff told me it is the metering valve that is behind rubber cap #1. They actually stock them due to others having this issue as well and you do not have to send back your prop valve etc. Got me an extra one just in case.

Re: CPP Master Cylinder Leaking Issue

There was actually an article/blurb about this in either Hot Rod or Car Craft a couple months ago. It seems that this is a common occurrence with these kits.
