What is this on my fuel line?
Can anyone tell me what this is on my fuel line? 1971 chevy c10.
the fuel level sending unit is inside the tank, and it has a mechanical fuel pump, so im not sure what this is. it has 2 wires, one is grounded to the body and I haven't had time to see where the other wire goes. Thanks. |

An electric fuel pump, maybe.

It could be. Im assuming you don't need it on a carbureted 454, but that doesn't mean that someone had fuel injection before and never bothered to take it off?

Re: What is this on my fuel line?
That's a low pressure pusher pump. Probably trying to solve a vapor lock issue.
