FS: Hedman Shorty Ceramic Headers for SBC - New

I picked up these headers test fit them and they fit however they wouldn't allow me to use the factory AC compressor. I contacted Hedman and they advised that they updated the passenger side header so I found the updated version. These would be perfect if you are not running AC or at least not using the large factory A6 compressor. model 69026. Summit still shows the style for 569.97

I'm selling the headers only and not the collector's, gaskets, or bolts. I mock installed these but they have never been used.

$275 plus shipping

Jeff

Here's a pic of the passenger side on my engine:

the space issue I had was because the front tube goes up. Where it exits by the trans it angles toward the trans more than I would like but there's enough room that it works. let me know if you have any questions.

What tranny were you using? Looks rather close quarters.

Hi sammy,

It is tight, but manageable. The tranny is a 700r4. I found a better pic showing the angle. My plan was to adjust the cooler lines so they ran tighter to the trans and angle the exhaust ball and socket flange.

I thought it might help your sale to know which tranny you had. Maybe more room on a turbo 350 or powerglide. I think the modulator is on the driver's side could help for more room. Just an observation.. Good price, good luck with your sale..

I run the non-coated version on my truck with a 700R4 and have no clearence issues. Only thing that is tough is getting to some of the plugs. I have my trans cooler lines routed past the collector against the trans, then it turns towards the frame rail. Plenty of room. I'd grab these if I didn't already have a set on my truck. Great deal.

Re: FS: Hedman Shorty Ceramic Headers for SBC - New

thanks for the offer matt,

I think 275 is a pretty fair deal so I think for now I'll pass and see if I can get 275 for a week or two before considering offers

I was looking at these a few days ago when you had them up. Will you take $285 shipped, if so I will take them.

Will these headers work with angle plugs?
