Electrical Plug Help!
I'm working with an '83 c-10 engine wiring harness and i have this round plug that I can not figure out where it goes?
It has 3 wires coming off it: -- light blue goes off by itself to an metal end (not a plug) -- Dark Blue & Tan (may be discolored pink) that goes tot he firewall block. I have looked at many wiring diagrams but can't find what this is for. Any help is appreciated. |

Re: Electrical Plug Help!
I think that plug originally attached to an oil pressure switch that was part of the electric choke circuit.
If that's the case, the pink wire is a +12V feed that is powered via the "CHOKE" fuse. The dark blue wire goes to the "CHOKE" light on the dash (at the lower part of the speedometer face). And the light blue wire connects to the electric choke heater. |

Yes, it does look like an oil pressure switch connector
