Vintage Air Controls
Looking at ordering a vintage air kit for my non-factory air 70 C10. After looking through the instructions and control system, it looks as if I can use my factory heater control with the system. I read some posts about using a factory AC control for more adjustability, but I am thinking that was on older models of the VA system, is that correct?

Re: Vintage Air Controls
Your correct the heater controls will work exactly the same as the factory a/c controls..

Re: Vintage Air Controls
The non AC factory controls actually work better then the factory AC controls. I just swapped my ac control out actually cause I liked the non AC unit better.
The AC unit has the three potentiometers pointing in random directions but the non AC has them all neatly in a row. With the AC controls you have an unused factory fan switch to deal with too. |
