Junkyard score C10 King look!

unbelievable score. right under Rene's nose in nearby Turlock. A Delux Steering wheel and column for Automatic (1965). Price? ............... $75 Harder and harder to find parts lately still looking for soft ray glass.

i kno a guy thats got sof t ray glass from 66 k10 pickup he wants a few bucks thou... u wanted me to contact him?

Here's my 24 year old nephew who came over to visit. He just finished drilling out and retapping the broken bolt in the steering wheel (explains why it was still there in the yard) and pulling off the wheel from the column.

Well here it is restored!

Column and Wheel $75
Repopped shift and turn levers and indicator/lens $75
New turnsignal switch $65
New lower bearing (NOS) $40

So, total cost: $260 . Plus paint. Cost involved to rebuild your own 2 spd auto column from a 1965 truck is nearly $300 plus I still need a new neutral safety switch. Can't beat the original looks though....

I need the center piece for that particular steering wheel, the piece that goes over the horn ring for the deluxe steering wheel in white. Do you have one? Let me know thanks
