Smile Door Panel Question?

I am in the process of restoring my 1972 c10 and am trying to find what door panels will work. The problem is the doors have been replaced and I think they are for a 1971. I would like to use the 1972 door panels but am not sure they will fit doors from a 1971. So my question is will any door panel fit both years or did the door panels change from year to year as far as fitment? Or is there a way to tell what year doors I have? TIA

Re: Door Panel Question?

There is some minor differences where the panel attaches at the bottom , the bigger issue would be the handles and regulators. the plastic 72 panels use a longer shaft for the handles to attach to , they must match.
