Re: anyone running these?

Perhaps your manifolds are incorrect for your model rig? Manifolds are what work for cars and trucks, it is aftermarket headers that tend to be a hassle to get proper fitment.

Re: anyone running these?

Do your exhaust manifolds dump straight down, or do they kick back at an angle? Cheap headers like those from summit have a tendency to cause people many headaches. Thinner gauge metals, and constant heat cycles will have you chasing leaks with cheaper headers. I'm not opposed to a good set of headers, but good and budget friendly don't go hand and hand in this case.

X2. I bought a set of "BlackJack" brand headers once. Seriously on one of the tubes you could see daylight between the tube and the flange, I had to weld it before I even installed them.

And then I had to cut a small chunk out of the frame rail. Terrible headers.

I picked up a nice set of Hookers now, they fit perfect and I'm happy with no leaks.

Oh and another thing run good gaskets. I love MLS gaskets for the headers.

Re: anyone running these?

Tell us what you have... year of truck, 2wd or 4wd, SBC/BBC, and what manifolds.
