New Blazer & New to the forum

First post here, just picked up this 70 2wd Blazer after 3 years of knocking on the door and getting turned away. Had to sell my 71 C10 swb to keep momma happy, but it's gonna be worth it. Will start a build thread soon.

Nice purchase! Where is MO? The 69-70 grilles are my all time favorite.

Great to have you on the board. I'm hoping your Blazer was built in St. Louis(the sixth digit on your VIN would be an "S")...If it is, I'd be very appreciative if you'd check your driver's side door (if it's original) and let me know what month your truck was born. Here's why:

Can't wait to see your build...looks like a great truck. Congrats.

Hey Brad, the 6th digit is an S but I think the Blazer has been painted at some point because there are no stickers on it. It is a one owner, so I may contact the family and see if they still have any of the original paperwork. I haven't had a chance to really dissect it yet, so maybe I will find something. Just got it in the garage tonight to start tearing it apart!

Maybe the Natural History Museum...or a case of Natural Lite. One way it's out of site, the other it's out of mind.

....PS...please don't work too hard...didn't mean to send you on an archeology expedition.
