Thank You. One more question and I'll shut it down. I don't see where I can connect the second heater hose. One goes to the intake manifold but the water pump has no fitting. Should I connect it to the block somewhere? My other truck has a fitting on the radiator but this one does not.
Sorry for the hijack but I think this information will help anyone that buys this conversion.
By the way-I am very happy with this conversion. No more squeaky belts and has proven quite reliable so far.

The water pump should have a plug in it near the top.

Yup that's it. To get this pump use 95 C/K 350 as a application.

Re: Serpentine belt conversions

I finally got mine sorted out. 95 truck water pump works great and now the pulley is in the right spot too. Even built my own Sanden mount kit and it is mounted. Now I just need a reverse rotation fan. I cut the mount near the fuel pump that was for the air pump so I could fit an electric Carter pump right to the block in the original spot. Cam out pretty good I think.

I'm interested in set up for a sbc 350. My engine is a 76 model and that includes all pulleys, power steering pump, alternator, a/c compressor and belt?

Re: Serpentine belt conversions

I just read through this whole post

Did you ever see or talk to your friend who put his on his 4x4?

I have a 72 was hoping to see some pictures

Also I Assume that most new crate engines from GM will have all needed accessory holes but some older stuff may be short a hole?

The 250 and 290 HP crate engines have the old school common holes which does lack one hole for the serp system. I'm not sure about the crate engines with aluminum heads. My friend's 4x4 conversion worked out just fine. He did that for his boss and has switched jobs so pics isn't a option.
Thanks, Tom

Re: Serpentine belt conversions

I've got this on my 70 4x4 but the engine is slid forward 2" and has electric fans. Shouldn't be much different for a 4x4. I could post pics if needed.
For the missing hole-I just mounted the bracket-marked the spot-drilled a shallow hole-tapped it-and loc-tite'd a stud in- and boom.

There are also 140A versions which I like to use. With this bracket, you can drop a large, 6" cased 140A alternator pretty easily.
