saw a 2wd that had been converted to 4wd
Took a road trip and saw this sitting for sell on the side of the road. I believe it's a 71 converter to 4wd. Front spring hangers were bolted on, and a massive bracket was made for the front of the rear springs. The rear spring shackle looks like it was a bolt on from a leaf spring truck. Could see where the 2wd steering gear was as well as the front suspension. It looked very nice, I wrote down the number but there was no price.

I have to wonder how a 4x4 with leafs in the front and coils in the rear would really handle. . . . .

coils in the rear would be good for crawling.... bogging.. might be a bit different...
