New member and new '72 GMC

After a year or more of searching, today I located and bought this truck:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/171703029280

I owned a '70 C10 many years ago and thought it was a great truck. I sold it due to rust (no garage at the time). This '72 GMC is quite a bit more luxurious than my former truck.

I've been watching this excellent forum for some time, and hope to contribute now and then.

Re: New member and new '72 GMC

I appreciate the welcome notes! I'll post some more pictures when I get the truck to Virginia. Much as a 3200 mile trip might be fun, it would cost twice as much as shipping - so I'm hunting for someone reliable. Based on past experience, that's not so easy.

I agree on the color scheme. I'd set out to find a red and white or orange and white truck - great color combos too. But I really like the bronze color, very unusual today. And this truck has all the right stuff from the factory.
