I have a 1981 K-10 that I would like to install a 73-74 grille in, is this possible? What all would be involved?

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of!! I've been going back thru some previous threads and looks like I just missed it by 1 year. Much easer if it were an 80. I'm not afraid of the work but this truck already has been painted and hate to have to change fenders and hood.... Looks like I'm stuck with the late model grille for now.
