Vintage Air

This warmer weather has me thinking about a/c. haven't taken the time to look and see if all over the original components are in my truck, but I think they are. Just out of curiosity I checked out the Vintage Air website and noticed that they do not list a kit for 1987 GM trucks....anyone know why?

Re: Vintage Air

It should work fine. Below is the documentation for non-factory air trucks.

Re: Vintage Air

I ran out to look things over and it appears everything is still there and the compressor is not locked up. I should be able to get it switched to r-134 and going pretty easily.
Does anyone know a source for replacement air vents? I know I have seen them somewhere but I just can't remember.

Re: Vintage Air

LMC has the air vents, but some have remove the chrome from the plastic vents and left them dark gray - looks good to me.

Re: Vintage Air

The little vent by the door on the drivers side is all busted up on mine....everything else is good other than they are pretty loose. I will have to look at LMC again...didn't see them. Thanks.

Edit: and there's the link....Thanks
