1970 Blazer with Chinook poptop!?

I just had a friend shoot me an email on the location of he says a 70 or 71 Blazer with a Chinook Pop Top Conversion. NOT sure of condition or status yet, but thinking about running down to scope it out. Obviously the common cosmetic issues are going to be looked over but does anyone have production numbers, are they desirable? I have my 71 short box 4x4 and have always wanted a first gen Blazer. Thanks in advance for any info.
