Re: Let's see some Flatbeds???

Thanks for the compliment Chevy@OK and I built the bed. Hauled this satellite downtown to meet the transport. Pulled her aboard with the winch on the trailer. In the last pic can"t hardly see the tractor and almost looks like the Chevy is gonna tow the whole thing. Ha Ha

Re: Let's see some Flatbeds???

I have this new love of flatbeds after seeing a 73-78 not sure but it was a crew cab a few months ago. That is a very nice truck you have, top notch welding skills.

1986 K30 Crew cab

Here's a few pictures of my 1986 K30, Crew with a custom flatbed. I built it with steel frames sides covered with aluminum so it would not look like a landscape truck going down the road. Add to that a 80" wide, 1600lbs liftgate to lift the balloon systems on/off the truck for our hot air balloon business. The truck was taken down to metal, all new paint, interior, rubber, lights, bumper, etc... running on Baja Wheels and BF Muds.

I saw where you mentioned else where that its a 81+ chassis with a 73-79 cab... can't believe you found a good condition round eye cab and front end without a ton of rust?
