2500-3500 roof clearance lights

Hey guys, I bought an aftermarket set of 2000-06 style clearance lights for my Suburban. It's a 90, and never had lights on the roof. I didn't like the original style but love these. Could someone with roof lights put some measurements down here for me? Windshield trim to front of lights. Spacing between center 3 light pod, and the single side light pods? I just want to get the factory spacing, and see how it looks. Thanks!

Re: 2500-3500 roof clearance lights

First, remember is that the front of the roof is curved so the center light is further forward than the sides. Second, I measured the location of the bolt holes because I thought it to be more accurate than just measuring to the estimated center of the lights.

I will begin with the center light the front 2 bolt holes are both 4 inches back from the black trim piece across the top of the windshield and the side bolt holes are 5 1/2 inches back from the black windshield trim

Sorry, some of the pictures are not as clear as I would like them to be but the sun wouldn't cooperate.

Re: 2500-3500 roof clearance lights

Next, the outer side bolt holes on the center light housing are both 20" from the rubber seal on each side of the truck above the door. I am also sure that if you center the light in the center of the cab as far back as i previously stated you will be fine.

I also noticed that the angle of the photos and the shadows makes the measurements look slightly different than what I am telling you, I am right and the photo is wrong. Don't believe your eyes believe me!

Re: 2500-3500 roof clearance lights

The outer bolt hole on the outer lights are positioned 6" back form the top of the black plastic trim at the top of the windshield and the inside bolt was 7". I am sure if you pic the outer bolt hole and adjust the inner's location to be square with the roof you will be good enough.

Re: 2500-3500 roof clearance lights

finally the distance inward from the rubber trim atop the door to the outer bolt location is about 5". I say "about" because the driver side was just under 5" and the passenger side was just over 5".

hope that helps. I was kinda in a rush and that is as good of a job as I could do with my limited time. If you have any more questions please ask.
