Front bag/line question

On the front crossmember. When you plate the spring pocket and put your bag. How are you guys routing you air line?
Are you hooking it to the bag then installing it and the plate at the same time?
Seems like if you get a leak you have to tear into the frontend again just to fix a line.

Guys have any images of how your line is routed from to eliminate this?

I drilled a small hole in the back of the spring pocket and ran the line through that.

How will you unhook your air line if you get a leak? Or did you use stainless tube?
Im going to be using the dot plastic line. If I drill a hole. I still cannot get to the disconnect with disassembly.

The plate should be bolted to the spring pocket so If need be you can unbolt the plate, deflate the bag (with jack stands in place of course) and attach/de-attach the line. Be sure to use a grommet where the line passes in to the spring pocket.

Exactly why im asking how people have run their lines. Because disassembly like this just to fix a air line is a big inconvenience.

Its a tight squeeze and not the most fun thing to do but I've changed out 3 sets of bags on the front by just unbolting the top plate and squeezing everything out.

Another option is cutting the a portion of the spring pocket to give you access like this

Not sure what im gonna do just yet. But atleast I seen 1 way maybe. But you still tearing everything down :/

Haha not quite, I made the mistake of buying chassistech bags and 2 sets leaked where the rubber meets the top and bottom plate of the bag. Finally running some airlifts now

I've had a lot of bagged trucks, I mean a lot, and only have had ONE LEAK caused by rubbing in a plastic line, when a zip tie came loose and it rubbed the rear tire.

I dont think you are going to have a problem unless you use water line and home depot compression fittings.
