Thanks Clem. It sounds sweet. We stopped the pipes at the mufflers for now and will run them out the back when I get the bed on.

Thanks Don.
I hauled it to the muffler shop but I did drive it on and off the trailer. And across the highway in town. I got a few looks. Haha

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Looks good. Its going to kill me to cover up my pretty floor after all that work scraping, welding, sanding, grinding and painting, but putting carpet over it anyways. I used whole roll on the firewall and figure the floor will take another whole roll and maybe part of a 3rd. Not sure what I am going to do with the back wall of the cab.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Almost got the doors ready to paint. I was wet sanding them and found a few small dings that needed some glazing putty. Maybe they will be ready in a few days. I will post some pics when I get them shot.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Not been getting a lot of truck time but I did paint a door and fender. My floor light quit working after my first coat of clear and I could not see that well so I have a couple of runs to sand down and buff out.
Oh well if it was easy everybody would do it.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

What is the seat from? Looks like a 2000-2006ish Silverado seat, which is what I was considering using. Plenty around, but I wasn't sure it would fit so have been hesitant to both sourcing one just yet.
