Would this work ?
I picked up a Van tilt coloum. It had a factory curise controll switch in the turn signal lever. Could I use that switch to controll the lock-up ? If I was to run the 12 volts thru the cruise switch ? I only want to be able to lock and unlock the torque converter. I think it would. Any reason it would not ?
Thanks .

Since the control wires are so small, I would use a relay in the system so that the relay carried the load of the lockup and not the small wires in the cruise control.

exactly what I was going to say, use a relay from Radio Shack and it should work no problem. The only question then would be if it is a momentary switch or a toggle type swith on the coloum.
