Lowering truck
I have a 64 stepside and I would like to lower it but don't know how much. Can anyone estimate how much the truck in this pic is lowered in the front and the back. I really like the way it looks.

My guess is it's on airbags. That is low for a static drop.

I would go to the static drop thread and find a truck with the drop you like and ask the person that posted it how much they lowered it. It is hard to guess from a picture.

The fist picture is my 64 pickup I just got on the road last fall. All static drop; 3-inch drops springs and 2-1/2 inch drop spindles in the front and 5-inch drop springs in the rear with adjustable trac bar and shock relocate brackets. No rubbing issues at all and rides great. Here is a picture before I put the cab and box on.

mine is a 4.5/6 static drop. I have not seen many (in person) much lower that were not bags.

I did a 5" drop spring with 2" blocks in the back and 3" drop spring in the front and I cut a coil and a half. Rides great and is lower than the pics here
