How to replace the windows in a 51 5 window
I'm new to this series of trucks, picked up a 51 5 window yesterday and it will need all new glass, the side windows are gone but the tracks were in the bottom of the doors, do I need to remove the wing windows to replace the glass and if so is there a tool to remove the screws they look a bit odd.
Thanks, I will start a thread on it tomorrow, I will need a bunch of parts!

They are clutch head screws, you can get the bits from eBay.
Yes the vent window has to be removed to replace the side glass.

Re: How to replace the windows in a 51 5 window
just did my glass in my 56, bought the glass on ebay in the frames and it was delivered in 2 or 3 days. There's a DIY section on brothers trucks on how to do a TF, yours might be close to the same. If not youtube it

Re: How to replace the windows in a 51 5 window
take your glass in for a pattern at your local glass shop and get what tint or smoke you want at a very reasonable price.
