Ok I'll be brave and ask, what exactly is a falling body line anyway, is this where the body protrudes outward about 4" below the top of the bed rails?

I think it looks nice. When I did mine, I was concerned about the falling body line also (Swamp Rat, if you look at the upper body line on the bed it actually tapers down at the rear) but after reading one of the other tutorials, I did the screwdriver trick of prying the bed out a little to match the seams, it worked perfectly and you can't tell there was a difference in the drop since the outer skin is so flexible.

I knew there had to be a different method than the traditional cut, butt and weld. I have a SWB box that has the most trashed bedsides you've ever seen and a pair of LWB sides that are near perfect I'm gonna give this a try. Thanks for sharing.

I've changed out the dash harness, turn signal switch, and fixed the messed up heater system. I'm just waiting on a new cigarette lighter, drive shaft support bearing, and back up light switch. Then everything will be working 100% and ready for the state police to inspect it.
Oh, and I changed out the gold bow ties on the caps to blue Boeing ties. I wanted the caps more period correct.

Love the before and afters. The first pic the trees are bare and there's dead leaves and twigs all over the driveway, and then the second BAM! leaves on the trees and nice green grass.
